Tesa platemounting tapes - for best print results

In label printing, quick and straight-forward tape handling really matters, so plates can be easily replaced. Labels for modern-day packing require complex print motifs; fine screen, exact barcode, fine colour gradients and solid areas. Labels must be produced in the highest quality on paper film.

Tesa softprint - optimum thickness tolerances
The properties of the PE-foam in use have been optimised with thickness tolerance in mind - the foam has been neither thermally nor mechanically manipulated during production.

The constant tape thickness supports consistent ink distribution. Set-up time is also reduced, especially important for repeat jobs.
 
Always the right adhesive strength, thereby ensuring:
Simple repositioning of tape and plate before printing

High bond strength during printing, and therefore no edge lifting, even when using the tape a second time.

Simple and residue-free de-mounting of plate and tape following printing, made possible by a low increase in peel adhesive.
The details make the difference.

The PE-foam has an optimised recovery capability, guaranteeing constant print results at higher speeds.

Higher foam-elasticity transmits even the finest plate details.
Magnification under Screen-electron-microscopes reveals the secret of the tesa softprint foam:

- Small, completely closed, spherical foam-cells
